Some of my favorite pieces from Anthropologie are from their "Online Exclusive" collection which is really tricky because I'm the queen of mistaking something for what it's not, and sure enough that's exactly what happened while I was swooning over this black and white floral dress. I stalked this dress online for quite sometime before deciding it had to be mine. All the while thinking it was an easy every day sun dress. It ends up that it's a thick polyester material (think extra thick scuba gear) making it a little too dressy, in my opinion, to just prance around in while running errands and playing with Graham and his water table. But that's okay because it's the PERFECT date night dress!
Online shopping is currently my "go to" shopping preference. It helps eliminate having to take Graham with me. He's not a bad shopper, and I know he appreciates all the sweet comments (and stickers) along the way, but as he gets more active I feel bad containing him to the stroller for too long.
There's been lots of learning curves with online shopping. The most important lesson I've learned, is to read the "product description" with a keen eye. The fabric type is crucial information that makes the difference in a big surprise when opening the package that arrives at my front door. I also really take note of the "length" when it's a dress or skirt. There's less time spent returning when I do my "homework." I know Brian would be proud of what a great online shopper I've become (Ha ha!).
